Dear guests,

The generosity at the Gasthaus Ochsen is our great strength! 

Here in the Swabian Alb we have wonderful nature that is worth exploring, no matter what the weather is like. We have plenty of space in and around our house. You can enjoy your time in the wellness area, rent an e-bike and explore the surroundings, take wonderful walks in nature or enjoy your beautiful room. 

Just the way you like it and it does you good. 

General

It is important to us to make your stay with us at the Ochsen as pleasant and safe as possible. To this end, we have developed our own protection concept for you and our staff. This is constantly adapted to the official regulations. 

Regular hand washing and disinfection is particularly important to us. There are disinfectant dispensers at the hotel and restaurant entrances and throughout the house. Please make ample use of them. 

Our house is equipped with special UV-ozone light filter devices, which deactivate 99.9 % of the viruses and bacteria directly at the place of their origin by ionisation. This technology has proven itself for many years in clinics and clean rooms. 

All our hoovers are equipped with a modern HEPA filter to filter the dust and bacteria in the environment as best as possible. 

Hotel

Your room will be available from 14:00 on the day of arrival. 

No proof of vaccination, recovery or test is required at check-in. 

Mouth-nose cover: We recommend that all guests wear a mask indoors. In Baden-Württemberg, masks are no longer compulsory. 

You are by far the best guests: take care of yourself and those around you and keep a distance. 

Welcome 

At the reception, Plexiglas panes offer the best possible protection. 

All the necessary guest data is already noted when you make your reservation, so that nothing stands in the way of a speedy check-in. The ballpoint pen with which you sign your registration form is freshly disinfected. 

Have you forgotten your mouth-nose covering at home or do you need a new mask? Just contact reception and we will be happy to help you. 

Rooms 

Our housekeeping team works professionally and conscientiously. 

Room cleaning emphasises the use of virucidal detergents and our bed linen and towels are washed with antiviral detergent as standard. 

Before your arrival and during your stay, the room will be thoroughly cleaned. 

If you do not wish your room to be cleaned daily or if you do not want us to enter your room at any time, please hang the red "Do not disturb" sign on the outside of the door handle so that it is clearly visible. 

The mattresses and bathrooms are regularly treated with a steam cleaner that uses hot steam to kill 99.99% of the coronaviruses and other (household) bacteria. 

Restaurant & Breakfast

We recommend going to breakfast before 9am if you want to avoid crowds. 

In the meantime, we are once again offering salads from our abundantly stocked salad bar. Please mind your distance and hand and mouth hygiene here. Would you rather have your salad served by us? Simply let our service staff know. 

All rooms are regularly supplied with fresh air. 

In warm weather, our spacious beer garden is at your disposal. 

Our crockery and cutlery is cleaned in an industrial dishwasher at more than 60 degrees Celsius for hygiene safety. The cutlery is additionally sterilised by a UV germicidal lamp in our cutlery dryer polishing machine. 

Catering

We can equip the event premises with hand disinfection dispensers at important locations. 

Do you need a hygiene concept? We would be happy to help you with this.

Glasses, crockery, cutlery and utensils brought along for preparation are cleaned in an industrial dishwasher at more than 60 degrees Celsius for hygiene safety and disinfected accordingly. The cutlery is also sterilised in our cutlery polishing machine using a UV germicidal lamp.
